Along the way, they’ll learn real movie-making skills including storyboarding, cinematography, animation, editing, sound effects, and voice acting. The adventure culminates in a fantastic film festival where students premiere their finished movie masterpiece for family and friends. Stop Motion Animation — 10-Day Program Summary:

Over the course of this 10-day adventure, students will explore the complete stop motion filmmaking process from concept to premiere. They’ll learn how animation creates the illusion of movement, develop original story ideas, plan scenes through storyboarding, design memorable characters, and build exciting sets and worlds. Using professional stop motion techniques, students will film their projects frame by frame while learning about camera angles, composition, lighting, and visual storytelling. Once filming is complete, they’ll edit their footage, add sound effects, music, voiceovers, titles, and credits before showcasing their finished films at an exciting end-of-program movie premiere.
