Calling all Heroes – Jump into the action with Superhero Cartooning, an epic art adventure where kids create their own characters, stories, comic pages, and covers—plus master cool drawing tips and tricks from epic effects, bold colors, and creating dynamic backgrounds! Taught by veteran comic artist, animator, & Professor David Bluestein, this program makes drawing fun and easy for all skill levels. If you love superheroes and cartoons, you’ll love every action-packed, creativity-filled class. No experience needed—just imagination!

SIX Week Program Overview:

🖌️ Class 1: Hero-Maker Headquarters!

Design your own legendary heroes and dastardly villains with bold shapes, big personalities, and cool costumes.

📖 Class 2: Panel Power!

Master the secret art of comic storytelling and learn how to guide your reader through action-packed pages!

🗯️ Class 3: Talk Bubble Trouble!

Learn how to make your characters talk, shout, and zap! Explore how speech bubbles, sound effects (like ZAP! and WHOOSH!), and cool lettering bring your comics to life.

🎨 Class 4: Cover to Cover Cool!

Create an eye-popping comic cover with epic poses and awesome titles that jump off the page!

🏙️ Class 5: Draw Your World!

Learn how to draw epic cityscapes, hideouts, and secret lairs using cool perspective tricks.

💥 Class 6: Ka-Boom! Color & Effects Lab!

Zap! Boom! Splash! Add color and effects that make your comics explode with life and energy.
