Hey there! I’m David — a national award-winning cartoonist and animation artist. I’ve been drawing series TV cartoons for over 25 years, and it’s been an incredible ride! You might’ve seen my work on shows like Almost Naked Animals, Super Wish,  Big Blue, Numb Chucks, Milie Magnificent, Bravest Warriors — just to name a few.

Way back when I first started as an illustrator, I had the awesome opportunity to be a cover artist for the legendary comic SPAWN, working on the super cool Viking Spawn title!

I’m also a professor and program-stream coordinator in the Animation Arts program at a leading college in Toronto, where I’ve been teaching for over two decades. I specialize in character design, film language, and storyboarding — and I also helped develop the programs themselves. My amazing college students have gone on to work at some of the worlds most acclaimed studios including Disney, and Netflix.

Outside the college classroom, I have a blast running cartoon and comic workshops in camps, schools, and community centers. Nothing makes me happier than being in front of a group of students and seeing them light up with excitement when they’ve drawn something they thought they never could!
